COVID-19 HEALTH AND SAFETY PROTOCOL:

At Morning Dew Massage & Wellness, our primary priority is to provide a better, healthier quality of life for our clients. We pride ourselves in creating a safe, healthy, and welcoming environment for everyone who walks through our doors.

We remain committed to creating a safe experience for you. As part of this commitment, Morning Dew Massage & Wellness will continue to require the following implemented health and safety protocols:

Client responsibility:

  • Complete a health screening questionnaire before appointment.
  • Wear required face masks/coverings regardless of vaccination status.
  • Follow any additional health and safety measures as provided by facility.

Staff responsibility:

  • Perform temperature checks for each client and staff.
  • Thoroughly disinfect the facility multiple times a day.
  • Clean, sanitize, and disinfect treatment rooms thoroughly between each client.
  • Wear required face masks and face shields during client sessions.
  • Follow additional Morning Dew Massage & Wellness staff health and safety measures.

To ensure that we can accommodate your needs, please book in advance and inform us if you are pregnant, have any special needs, allergies, or medical conditions.

CAN I CHOOSE A MALE OR FEMALE TECHNICIAN?

Whether you are seeking a particularly skilled technician for skin care or massage therapy, all of our therapists and estheticians have been hand-picked to guarantee you the best treatments possible. The ultimate goal is to pair you with a technician best suited for your specific needs.

We have both male and female massage therapists available. Either gender may be requested prior to booking to ensure their availability. We will do our best to accommodate your request.

We ask that you arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled reservation to allow yourself ample time to check in, complete intake forms, and relax while enjoying complimentary refreshments.

WHAT TO EXPECT IN PREPARATION OF ARRIVAL:

The Atmosphere at MDM

Morning Dew Massage & Wellness is warm, inviting, simple, unpretentious, and chic. Each one of our MDM team members are respected for their individualities and encouraged to support each other in all aspects of Morning Dew Massage & Wellness' operations with achieving E.P.I.C.TM service as their primary goal. Our efforts are to provide a better, healthier quality of life for our clients.

Enter Morning Dew Massage & Wellness with a willingness to relax and leave your stress behind. This time is all about you. Shed all your titles and unwind. Wash away outside baggage and prepare for your Morning Dew renewal.

Some things to consider in preparation for your visit:

  • Eating: Try not to eat for at least (1) one-hour prior to your appointment.
  • Smoking: Please refrain from smoking (1) one-hour prior to your appointment.
  • Cell Phone Use: We ask that as a common courtesy to other guests at the establishment, please do not speak on your cell phone, and turn off any mobile devices during your visit.
  • Drink plenty of water. Therapeutic massage treatments often release toxins from your body. To keep yourself hydrated, be sure to drink plenty of water before and after your treatment.
  • Additional parties and children: Please make arrangements for your children off-site prior to your arrival. Due to liability issues, our staff are not allowed to care for your children while you are in service. To promote a distraction-free experience for you and the technician, please do not bring children with you unless the child is the client and booked for a service.
  • Only clients booked for services are allowed in the facility and treatment rooms. If you require translation services and need to bring another party, please notify our front desk in advance.
  • Minor clients (age 17 and under) require written consent of a parent or guardian before services are rendered.

ADDING AN ADDITIONAL SERVICE OR TREATMENT:

If you would like to add on a service at the time of a pre-scheduled treatment, please let us know upon your arrival. We will check and see if there is availability in the schedule and try our best to accommodate you.

CAN I SHOWER WHILE I AM THERE?

Please note that our facility is not equipped with showers. All our services are designed to be performed without the need for showering. If you have concerns about your hair, please inform your technician so that the integrity of your hair is maintained throughout the treatment.

PRE-SERVICE (INTAKE/CONSULTATION FORM):

After filling out the intake/consultation form specified for either facial or massage, you will be escorted to the treatment room by your therapist or esthetician (or “technician”). The intake/consultation is required by the State of Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. We request that you provide thorough and accurate information to ensure that the technician can properly assess the selected service for your needs and evaluate any contraindications, if necessary.

START OF SERVICE:

After you have been escorted to the treatment room, the technician will give you a consultation before the treatment starts to provide the best possible experience. After the technician reviews and discusses the intake/consultation form with you, they will leave the room for a few moments to allow you to get comfortable on the table before your session begins.

  • Massage Therapy Services: You may remove your clothing/disrobe to your comfort level and drape yourself underneath the sheet. Regardless of your disrobing level, please keep in mind that our professional team fully drapes during service, and you will never be inappropriately exposed at any time during the treatment. Our professional massage therapist will do their utmost to ease your mind and ensure that you are appropriately draped during your session for maximum privacy and comfort.
  • Facial Services: You may remove the top portion of your clothing/disrobe to your comfort level. This will prevent or reduce any facial product from spilling on your clothing. Please drape yourself underneath the sheet. As with massage therapy, please keep in mind that our professional team fully drapes during service, you will never be inappropriately exposed at any time during the treatment. Our professional estheticians will do their utmost to ease your mind and ensure that you are appropriately draped during your session for maximum privacy and comfort.

DURING SERVICE:

Throughout the session, we encourage you to clear your mind and relax. We may inquire on certain topics including pressure, temperature, comfort, etc. Please speak with your therapist if the pressure needs to be modified.

Try to disengage your muscles as much as possible and pretend that you are a limp rag doll lying on the table. Allow your massage therapist to position and adjust your limbs as necessary. A professional massage therapist can detect resistance if you attempt to “help” the therapist or not relax your limbs. Please feel free to relay any issues to your therapist throughout the treatment.

Some clients even like to use their time to fall asleep on the table. It’s OK! Remember, this time is for you.

AFTER SERVICE:

After your service, you will be escorted to our front desk to finalize the checkout process. Massage and facial services will have a 3% service fee added at checkout. If you are interested in our membership plan or products, please feel free to discuss this with our experienced front desk team member.

We are constantly evaluating our services and taking in feedback in a quest to improve the quality of our services and our technicians. If you are unsatisfied with anything, please let us know. Our goal is to continue to provide you with a better, healthier quality of life and an E.P.I.C.™ Experience.

Complimentary citrus-infused or plain water, and teas are provided at the end of your service.

TIP/GRATUITY:

Tips are a good way to appreciate your technician for their E.P.I.C.™ Service, however tips are not required. If you do decide to provide a tip, the standard gratuity is 15-20% of the original treatment cost. Please keep in mind that our facility does not deduct any fees from the technician’s tips whether tipped through cash or credit/debit card. The technician’s tips are 100% their own.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Our technicians are available for all scheduled services. To ensure a seamless experience and respect for their time and yours, the following cancellation policy is in place:

24-hour Notice: A minimum 24-hours’ notice is required for cancellation of bookings. Appointments cancelled 24-hours before scheduled services are cancelled with no charge (0%).

No Show: Cancellations made outside of this time frame or clients who fail to turn up for an appointment will be charged the full retail price (100%) of the scheduled treatment. This No-Show fee applies to all clients (members/non-members) and discounts are not applicable to reduce amount of charge.

Same-Day/Reschedules: All same-day cancellations are subject to a 50% cancellation fee. Same-day includes the following: same-day appointment cancellations, cancellations after-business operating hours, and same-day reschedules.

Late Arrival: Please note that late arrivals will have treatment times adjusted accordingly to ensure timeliness for next guest and charged for full treatment originally reserved.

Please note that our online booking system does not allow a client to cancel their own scheduled service. Please call our staff for assistance.
